Cafe Onion is absolutely breathtaking. Bih. In one word it is a masterpiece. It’s history as a metal factory in the era of Korean industrialization lends to the immaculate juxtaposition of modern versus aged textures. you’ll never truly appreciate discolored and water-damaged concrete,until you see this place. This is the final destination for aesthetic queens.

I’ve tried a few items. The Rose Ade, Passionfruit Ade, Muschroom Focaccia, Hodduk Bread, Bacon Focaccia and that strawberry pastry (I forgot what it’s called!). Everything was perfectly made. The drinks were so aesthetically pleasing, the focaccia pizzas were savory and amazing, and the sweeter breads were so balanced and perfectly sweet. The hoedduk (호떡 lol) bread was my favorite. The bread has a textured seedy outer crust and soft red bean interior, just like actual hodduk. It was the perfect amount of sweet and was truly unique and nostalgic and fabulous.

This place is pure perfection. FIrst, the remarkable, historical, aesthetic as fuck interior, then the unlimited seating options, and finally the amazing breads and drinks. They really mastered every aspect of the experience in this cafe and it has me shook every time. I highly recommend checking this place out.
